Set up in 1946 , it was not uncommon during the good old days for Long Beach customers to shout their orders for the cook to whip up familiar favourites to his stable of regulars at its first outlet in Bedok Rest House.

Today Long Beach Seafood has certainly come a long way. Best known for their legendary black pepper crab, chilli crab and smoky duck at its popular balmy location in East Coast Parkway, they were also the first to introduce a seafood menu, seafood lunch menu and even took to dressing their waiters in smart and elegant uniforms, which were all instrumental in defining the seafood dining experience.

Long Beach Seafood has since opened five restaurants across the island to much acclaim offering the ever-popular de-shelling services for crabs and innovative dishes that continue to earn accolades and even spawn imitations at other seafood joints.
